Where is BATSU!?
BATSU! London is performed at Underbelly’s Boulevard Theatre in SoHo at 6 Walker's Ct, London W1F 0BT, UK.

What is your schedule?
November 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24
December 1, 8, 15, 22
January 12, 26

See Underbelly’s website for times and ticketing buying options.

I really want to come on a specific date, but I see you are sold out online….
Arg! We sold out before you could get tickets and that’s a batsu no one wants. Good news is we have more shows to select from, please find the next best option and book your seats.

What about tickets at the door? Is there a wait list?
If there are tickets available online, those same tickets may be available at the door. Sadly, there is no waitlist…. You’ll need to open your calendar and find another date to experience BATSU!

My friends all bought tickets, but now it’s sold out! Can I squeeze in and join them?
Sadly no. Wish we could do more for ya.

Can you accommodate a group of my size?
The number of tickets offered reflects the total available.

How do I make a reservation?
You must purchase tickets directly from Underbelly’s website. We can not hold reservations, tickets, or seats; the only way to secure entry and your seat is to purchase on Underbelly’s website. Ticket/table availability subject to change without notice.

How early do I need to buy tickets?
Since every show is different, there is no hard and fast rule. Some shows sell out in advance.

How does seating work?
Go to Underebly’s website and select your seats in one of 4 different ticketing tiers. Easy peasy!

BAND A - Ground Level (includes Hachimaki headband)
BAND B - Ground Level
BAND C - Upper Level

STANDING - umm standing - in the upper level

How long is the experience?
Every night is different, but you can expect roughly 2 hours from reservation time.

What is a “hachimaki” and what happens if I put one on my head?
The hachimaki is a Japanese headband — like in The Karate Kid, only BATSU! style. They are £8 and are available at the show, during the ticket purchase check out as an add-on, or you may pre-purchase by clicking the link in your confirmation email. Hachimaki headbands (鉢巻, “helmet-scarf“ worn in Japanese culture as a symbol of effort or courage by the wearer) are yours to take home. The hachimaki is not only an awesome and fun souvenir, but those who wear theirs with honour will receive 2 visits from our Sake Shinobi. This is NOT unlimited free sake (that would be crazy - and we are told, illegal). Wear your hachimaki every time you come to BATSU! at any location - London, NYC, Chicago.

Do you serve food and drinks? Are they included in the ticket?

No food or drinks are included in your ticket price, but we offer an awesome drinks menu before and throughout the show at Cafe Kitty, Underbelly’s Cocktail Bar. There are no minimums.

Is BATSU! appropriate for my company outing?
Absolutely. We welcome corporate groups and client outings to every performance!

WARNING: After attending, you will be the office hero, so prepare yourself for multiple back-pats, sincere accolades, and general praise for being the one who recommended and/or organised the company outing to BATSU!

How old do you have to be to BATSU!
You must be 18+ to experience, drink at, or sign up for a chance to participate in BATSU! We check IDs at the entrance, so please have them ready.

I’m coming for a Birthday BATSU! What’s the deal with that? Can we bring a Birthday Cake?
Sorry, no can do. You can sing HBD before or after (never during, obviously) the show.

Can I participate in BATSU!?
Maybe. Our staff has the sole right to select anyone they want, as well as to not select anyone they want. They can even unselect someone after they've been selected if our staff changes their mind.

This is who they are looking for:

  • Guests who are fun, happy, and nice.
  • Guests who are not visibly drunk or high.
  • Guests who arrive prior to showtime. (this is a good tip)
  • Guests who sign the waiver.
  • Guests who arrive PRIOR to showtime.

Signing a waiver does NOT guarantee participation.

No one arriving after the batsu game begins will be permitted to sign up for a chance to be selected. If you want a chance to play IN the batsu game, you must arrive BEFORE the batsu game starts – we recommend arriving before showtime. Please note that a very limited number of audience members can actually be selected to participate in the show. For that reason we like to spread love and pick folks from different parties/groups/sections of the audience.

Do I have to sign a waiver? YES, and you must be willing to provide your email address.

Is there a super broad rule that covers just about everything?
Yep, it’s the “Just Be Cool” Rule.

The “Just Be Cool” Rule

Any offending guest (and possibly their whole party) who repeatedly becomes a distraction to or inappropriately touches any performer, staff, and/or other audience members, and/or who says or does anything deemed racist, or who is intentionally unkind to any performer, staff member, or any other guest, may be asked to leave.

We have worked very hard to provide a fun and kind environment. We will protect it and our customers' experience. Just be cool (クールにしていてください) and everything will be wonderful.
